Wake County Opens Animal-Friendly Winter Storm Shelters

Wake County has opened emergency shelters in response to winter storm Fern. Two animal friendly shelters are available for residents in need.

The shelters are located at Southeast Raleigh High School, 2600 Rock Quarry Road in Raleigh, and Heritage High School, 1150 Forestville Road in Wake Forest.
