**Lansing Library Promotes Early Literacy with Free Resources for Families**

The Capital Area District Libraries in Lansing, MI, is encouraging families to take part in their children's early literacy journey by offering free resources and daily activity calendars designed to inspire learning.

According to the library, even small steps in engaging with a child’s literacy development can lead to significant benefits, including establishing a strong foundation for future learning, improving communication skills, strengthening social and emotional development, and fostering stronger family bonds.

The early literacy and family literacy calendars feature a variety of daily activities aimed to make learning enjoyable for children while promoting meaningful family interactions. These calendars are available for free at the library, offering caregivers easy ways to integrate educational activities into their everyday routines.

Families are encouraged to pick up these resources and explore simple, fun ways to support their child's growth and development. This initiative emphasizes that early actions can lead to long-lasting positive outcomes in children's social, academic, and personal lives.
