The City of Auburn announced that North Street, also known as NYS RT 34, will be repaved over the next two weeks. The project will begin on Monday, September 22, 2025. Construction work includes milling the road surface on Tuesday, September 23, between Lansing Street and Standart Avenue, and on Wednesday, September 24, between Standart Avenue and the northern municipal boundary just north of Quarry Road.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution and expect lane closures, delays, and detours in the affected areas. Drivers are urged to reduce speed, follow posted signs, and remain alert when traveling through the work zone to ensure the safety of both construction workers and other motorists.
