**Bird-Watching in Lansing: Top Avian Sightings and Popular App Assistance**

Lansing, NY – A variety of bird species have been observed in the area, catching the attention of both novice and experienced bird-watchers alike. Reports from Cornell University in Ithaca highlight several birds commonly seen or heard in the region, including the **Blue-winged Warbler**, **Eastern Wood-Pewee**, **Rose-breasted Grosbeak**, **Red-eyed Vireo**, and **Scarlet Tanager**.

Bird enthusiasts may hear the chirping, singing, and trilling of these feathered visitors from the trees, and sometimes catch glimpses of their vibrant plumage. For those wondering how to identify these birds, the Cornell Lab of Ornithology offers assistance through its Merlin Bird ID app.
