The Capital Area District Libraries in Lansing, Michigan is inviting community members to earn the Campfire Safety Badge through a challenge on Beanstack. Participants can join the challenge by visiting cadl.org/smokey.

To earn the badge, individuals are encouraged to complete one of the following activities:

1. Name two or more of Smokey the Bear's wildfire rules.

2. Write a poem focusing on campfire safety.

3. Share information about campfire safety with a friend or family member.

4. Compose a song about campfire safety.

5. Create a poster that outlines campfire safety rules for use during camping trips.
