Cornell University announced on June 5 that Sorin Lerner, a professor and chair of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of California, San Diego, will serve as the new dean of the Cornell Ann S. Bowers College of Computing and Information Science. The appointment was announced by Provost Kavita Bala.
